General Information

Swimming

During the winter months, we run sessions on a Thursday evening at One Leisure, St Neots which are available for club members of all abilities.  Additionally, we advertise to club members a session at One Leisure on a Sunday evening

Open water swims

Members are able to swim in one of the lakes at Paxton Pits run by the company DAMS WaterSports Ltd.  There are several sessions per week which run May - September.  These are not run by the triathlon club although members are able to get a discount.  Sessions have a lifeguard on duty, safe entrance and exits and an outdoor shower to rinse off.

Bike rides

We generally ride on Saturday mornings. Meeting and finishing (with coffee and cake) at the Ambience Cafe, Riverside Carpark, St Neots. Days and times, will be published on Facebook or via individual texts. Usually we will ride for 1.5 - 2 hours + depends on who is training for what, but there will always be a short route for those inexperienced riders and those training for sprints etc. Some rides will be on mountain bikes and others on road bikes, it’s generally weather dependent.

All training rides cater for all abilities. These rides will be at your own risk and you must wear an approved bike helmet, suitable clothing and carry puncture repair kit, cash (for coffee!) and mobile phone. Anyone and everyone of all abilities are of course, welcome!

Before joining us on one of our rides, please make sure you have read our Outdoor cycling rules.

Cyclone Training (spinning classes)

When it's that time of year when we start to migrate indoors for our training, club cyclone sessions are held at One Leisure, St Neots

Cost is around £35 for a 10 week block booking (TBC)

Runs

Our main training runs are Speedwork on a Tuesday evening in Priory Park at 6.30pm and then a Sunday long run which starts at 9pm although the starting location can vary in order to provide members with a variety of routes.

Before joining us on one of our runs, please make sure you have read our Outdoor running rules.

The majority of people in the club are also members of the local running club Riverside Runners. We generally join in on their club nights where they cater for all abilities.

They meet at the rowing club St Neots on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and then Sundays for long runs.
